Rachel Torrance volunteered to go to Vietnam as a Red Cross ‘Donut Dolly.’ She helped build morale with soldiers by playing games and serving coffee with donuts. In this interview, she recalls what it was like as a woman serving in the Vietnam War and how a close call gave her a new perspective on the war.
