- Yeah, hey, Wally and the family visiting?
- Jean's taking me down to see them in the morning.

- Leon, Mr. Coleman's really busy right now, come on.

(machine beeping) - [Ed's Daughter] Hi, Dad.

- [Wally] Merry Christmas, Grandpa.
- [Ed's Daughter] Look, I'm sorry about missing Christmas again.

It's just with Jim just getting back from his trip, we're just so busy.

- Are you holding this for your performance?
Well, hoping I get those drinks before your audience arrives.
- [Bartender] Our friend, Ed here, appears to be a magician.
- Yeah, I saw that.

- I wouldn't say a specialty.
- Well Ed, Dave, we're having one more drink, share some Christmas magic with us?

(suspenseful music begins) - Okay.

Hey guys, I got a surprise.
Ed is a magician, and he's gonna share some magic with us before we leave.
- Aw, so handsome, thank you Ed.
(supenseful music escalates) (cards shuffling) - May I ask your name?
- Kate.
- Kate, please take a card.
- Okay.
- Okay, now don't show it to me, Kate, show everyone else.
Put it back anywhere in the deck.

Now I'm going to shuffle the cards again.
(cards shuffling poorly) No, wait, that's not good.
Let's go.
Just, I can do it better than that.
- They look plenty shuffled to me, Ed.
- None of us know where the card is.
We know, it's not on the bottom.
We know it's not on the top, (suspenseful music intensifies) but, if I give, if I give the cards a magic wave.
(cards falling) Oh no!

(Kate sighing) - Oh no.
- It's okay, Ed, here, let me help.
- Wait, wait!

(suspenseful music peaks) - No way!

(people talking excitedly) - What was your card?
- The Queen of Hearts.
(people cheering and laughing) - That is unbelievable!
(people clapping) - Oh God, Ed, that was amazing!

- How did you do that?
- What can be explained is not poetry.
- That alone deserves another drink.

- I'm still blown away!
- It was really amazing, Ed.

(Leon laughing) - Great.
